Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Review

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Review

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0385700/

What I Liked:

1. The animation is fantastic. Great to see the FFVII characters rendered in a “realistic” style.

2. As a fan of Final Fantasy VII, it was cool to see these same characters again in a new story.

3. The final scene was really special from a fan’s point of view.

What I Didn’t Like:

1. I don’t like the Asian style of fight sequences done mostly in the air. The action scenes didn’t excite me.

2. Disappointing story and crappy villains. The appearance of Sephiroth near the end feels cheap and forced.

Gay: Most of the male characters are ultra-effeminate, especially the villains. They seriously look gender confused. All you would have to do to make them women, would be draw tits on them. I make no apologies for knocking a point off for this. -1

Final BS Rating: 0 MEH

I loved the game Final Fantasy VII, and I’m enjoying Crisis Core on the PSP, but Advent Children was a huge disappointment for me.
